In 2002, the Aspen Institute reviewed ten anti-racism programs in the United States and compiled their findings into “Trainings for Equity and Inclusion: A Guide to Selected Programs,” by Dr. Ilana Shapiro.
Recently, the Institutional Antiracism & Accountability Project of the Shorenstein Center, noted PISAB’s work in a blog post on the Race, Research & Policy Portal.
The author reviews the Aspen Institute’s Guide and writes:
“The programs in this study are trailblazers in addressing the complex, deeply rooted, and constantly changing dynamics of racism, racial conflict, and intergroup relations. They do so while operating with limited resources and time constraints.”
