MSNBC is hosting a Town Hall meeting on racism facilitated by Joy Reid and Chris Hayes. Individuals can register to be part of the live audience taping of the meeting. “MSNBC hosts Joy Reid and Chris Hayes will facilitate an open dialogue about the state of racial bias in American society and what can be done to effect change. The interactive discussion will explore the current state of race relations through the prism of several recent events, including the arrest of two African-American men at a Philadelphia Starbucks in April 2018.
ARRIVAL: Doors will open at 2:30pm and close promptly at 3:30pm. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is recommended to guarantee a seat and allow time for parking and security check. Guests who arrive after the start of the event may not be admitted.
TIMING: The event will end at approximately 5:30pm. As this event will be filmed for a television broadcast, all guests will need to remain on site for the full duration.
IMPORTANT: All guests will need to go through a security check to enter. No promotional or political affiliation displays, large bags, or firearms are allowed.
